| Arguably,
the musician who has done the most for the low whistle is Davy Spillane.
He has used the sound in so many types of music, fusing Jazz, R&B
with traditional and contemporary Irish. His playing on the Moving
Hearts album, The Storm, set a style which has travelled throughout
the world, leading to an unprecedented demand for the low whistle.
